Flexible Work Schedules
Syracuse University supports flexible work schedules that meet the needs of a job, the eligible staff member performing the job, the immediate supervisor and department, and/or the University. Proposals for modifying a traditional schedule may be initiated by an employee or a manager/supervisor. All flexible work schedules must satisfy the University policy requirements as described in the Flexible Work Policy.
- Flu-Related Flexible Work Arrangement (FRFWA)
- Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA): FWA proposals are initiated by an employee to address a personal work/life need.
- Flexible Work and Sustainability (FW&S): FW&S proposals are initiated by the manager or supervisor for the purpose of enhancing University sustainability efforts and alleviating the high costs of commuting for employees.
