Syracuse University at the Chase Corporate Challenge

May
Wednesday, 5/18 - Registration opens for the Syracuse University team

June
   Thursday, 6/2 - Registration closes at 4 p.m.
   Friday, 6/3 - Confirmation and race details e-mailed to all registered team members
   Monday, 6/20 and Tuesday, 6/21 - Team Shirt and Race Number Pick-up

Event Itinerary for June 21
   4:30 - 6 p.m.  Shuttle service starts (Carousel Center to Onondaga Lake Park)
   5 p.m.  Check-in begins at Syracuse University tent
   6 p.m.  Syracuse University team photo at the main stage
   6:25 p.m.  Official start time of race.
   6:45 p.m.  Post-race snacks and water available until 8 p.m.
   7:15 - 9 p.m.  Shuttle service resumes (Onondaga Lake Park to Carousel Center)

Individual Participation
Syracuse University encourages all benefits eligible faculty and staff to join this year's Syracuse University team.* With a history of strong participation, Syracuse University has earned the "Largest Participation Award" for the last three years.

Participants may walk or run the 3.5-mile course.
There is no registration fee for faculty and staff who participate.
There is no fundraising requirement for participants.

The JPMorgan Chase Foundation makes an overall donation on behalf of the Corporate Challenge. This year, Child Care Solutions (Syracuse) has been designated as the 2011 recipient.

Internal Teams Competition
In 2010, faculty and staff joined their colleagues to form 45 "internal" teams. If you are forming an internal team this year, e-mail learn@syr.edu (subject: "SU Internal Corporate Challenge Team") by May 26 with the internal team name and the name and e-mail of the team leader.

This year Syracuse University will provide participants with:

free team t-shirt,

post-race snacks and water, and

a gathering place for runners and walkers after the race.

More information regarding race day will be posted on this site as the date approaches. Deadline to register for the Syracuse University team at the Chase Corporate Challenge is 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011.
