Pay Administration Guidelines
The pay administration guidelines for setting and adjusting rates of pay for various types of employees are summarized below.

Classified salaried and hourly staff positions: Classified staff positions are compensated according to the University's Pay Administration guidelines. Please refer to the Pay Administration Handbook.
Temporary and student positions: Temporary non-student positions must be paid according to the University's Fair Wage Initiative that sets the minimum hourly rate for temporary employees at $11.08 effective 6/30/2012. The minimum hourly rate for benefits eligible employees, as set by the Fair Wage Initiative, is $12.19 also effective 6/28/2012.
Student employees and temporary summer employees filling traditional student jobs must be paid at least $7.25 effective 7/24/09.
