Did you know that the rose garden at Thornden Park is a national award-winner? Join Jeanette Matson, president of the Syracuse Rose Society, America's oldest rose society, for a tour of the rose garden. Ms. Matson will present a primer on roses and provide tips on how to grow, care for, and propagate them.

Want to learn more about the new Morningside Cultural Trail system, which offers seven rural miles of trail in urban Syracuse all within a mile and a half of campus? Join Paul Harvey, volunteer coordinator for the MCT, to learn about the collaborative effort behind the trail system, the various routes, and how this trail system integrates recreation, fitness, the arts, literature, science, history, and nature.
Campus History Tour

Here are two chances to take a walking tour of the SU campus and learn some of the history of the place and its people from a man who knows it well. Join Professor Emeritus Marvin Druger for an entertaining and informative tour of main campus as he offers personal insights on Syracuse University's history and traditions.
Tour limited to 20 participants.

Participants will meet at the Pan Am 103 memorial, rain or shine. Bring umbrellas, if needed!
This tour will take the full 1.5 hours (from noon to 1:30 pm).

Take a tour of the Melo Center and Manley Field House. Opened in September 2009, the $19 million Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center is a state-of-the-art basketball practice facility that houses the men's and women's basketball programs, two full practice courts, strength and conditioning room, an athletic training suite, offices, locker rooms and more. Manley Field House features an indoor FieldTurf practice area, complete with three-lane running track, plus offices, study facilities and the sports medicine complex. Join a representative from SU Athletics for this behind-the-scenes tour.
