Section 2: Key Events and Important Deadlines

| February - April | Syracuse University Budget process. During this process, supervisors will be asked to make assumptions and anticipate the results of an individual's performance. While this may prove to be challenging, it allows for a manager to line up pay with performance. If between March and June an individual does not meet expectations, the supervisor will have opportunities to make adjustments. Key events:

| July 1 - June 30th | All Performance Partnership reviews and documented feedback should follow a schedule matching Syracuse University's fiscal year schedule. Even if a staff member works an academic year schedule, this will align with the existing University Budget process - allowing for a more effective link of staff performance to recognition and compensation. |
| By First Friday in June | All formal reviews for staff are to be completed and submitted to the Office of Human Resources. Manager and staff are encouraged to make copies of the submitted review prior to sending the original to HR. Once received by HR, the reviews are then placed in the staff member's personnel file as part of the documentation that contributes to the work history at Syracuse University. |
