Dialogue Circles

SU Dialogue Circles for Faculty and Staff will Form in Fall 2009

Syracuse University Dialogue Circles have been taking place on campus since 2006. Dialogue Circles are racially diverse groups led by a team of facilitators of differing racial backgrounds in discussions of racism, reconciliation and responsibility. Currently the group meets for 2 hours a week, for a 6 week period to discuss issues of institutional or structural racism. You do not have to be a racial minority or an expert in racial matters to participate, just a person who believes that one person can make a difference. Everyone brings a valuable life experience to the Circles.

If you think you would like to get additional information about the Circles, contact Curlene Autrey at x1520. The next SU Dialogue Circles will form this fall. If you would like to join a waiting list to be contacted prior to the campus announcement of Circle dates and times, e-mail Curlene Autrey at cautrey@syr.edu.
