The focus of HR's WorkLife and Organizational Development is to integrate work/life initiatives into the campus culture and assist leaders, groups, and individuals on campus in their efforts to change, grow and develop.
WorkLife is a group of services that assists Syracuse University staff and faculty to integrate personal and work needs throughout all life stages. It encompasses the areas of Counseling; Family Care; Flexible Work; Individual Growth and Development; and Wellness. We believe WorkLife initiatives strengthen and develop a culture that supports your efforts to achieve balance in your personal and work life.
Organizational Development assists in adjusting the beliefs, attitudes, values, and structure of organizations so they can better adapt to new challenges, through:
