Compensation
The Wage and Salary, Overtime and Fair Labor Standards Policy is a comprehensive resource for information on pay for faculty, salaried staff, hourly staff and bargaining unit positions.
Temporary and student positions: Temporary non-student positions must be paid according to the University's Fair Wage Initiative that sets the minimum hourly rate for temporary employees at $11.08 effective 6/30/12. The minimum hourly rate for benefits eligible employees, as set by the Fair Wage Initiative, is $12.19 also effective 6/28/12.
Student employees and temporary summer employees filling traditional student jobs must be paid at least $7.25 effective 7/24/09.
