- Remitted tuition benefits for SU credit and non-credit courses, toward a degree or for personal or professional development (12 credits per year) are available to benefits eligible employees.
- Learning Opportunities programs, offered through the Office of Human Resources, with topics ranging from time management to supervisory skills training, are offered during work hours to all faculty and staff.
- One-on-one career counseling is available to all employees, including short- and long-term goal setting, career assessment, and resume assistance.
- A comprehensive orientation process introduces new employees to the University and provides assistance in taking care of important business related to benefits, payroll, and parking. New employees are also scheduled to attend a group orientation program and meet fellow SU employees, to learn more about our culture and the many services available to staff.
- You may transfer some or all of your remitted tuition credits to your spouse/same sex domestic partner for use toward most courses offered at SU.
- Full or partial tuition expenses for your dependent(s)’ first baccalaureate degree may be available for use at Syracuse University or at one of the member schools of the Tuition Exchange program. (A list of participating member institutions is available).
- $1,250 per semester ($2,500 per academic year) may be available to those dependents attending an accredited college or university other than Syracuse University or a Tuition Exchange member institution.
