Neil Strodel Across campus local high school students are coming to work at SU this summer as part of a partnership with CNY Works. For the third year, HR is coordinating the effort to bring in young people to work at SU not only to earn money, but also to develop work skills, build a strong work ethic and expose them to the world of higher education as they consider their future after high school.

Just as these young people plan for their future careers, we encourage current staff members to fully consider all of the employment options that SU offers. With this in mind, WorkLife's Individual Growth and Development committee presents a staff development day "Leveraging Your Potential for Your Next SU Position" on July 30.

While staff development is a visible part of the work we do in Human Resources, there is much more to who we are, what we do and why we do it.
