Faculty Administrative Leave
Where extenuating circumstances prevail and other leave options are not applicable, administrative leaves may be arranged at the discretion of the department chair and dean with the concurrence of the vice chancellor. University guidelines for faculty leaves and procedures for applying for administrative leaves are provided in the Faculty Manual.

Faculty Research Leave
Any faculty member holding a full-time appointment may apply for a research leave. The majority of leaves are granted to encourage scholarly research or creative activity. University guidelines for faculty leaves and procedures for applying for research leaves are provided in the Faculty Manual.
