The Service Employees Benefit Fund (SEBF) dental plan is an alternative to the University's Delta Dental program for eligible SEIU bargaining unit employees.
SEBF Dental Benefit Design
There are two dental options available from SEBF: Basic and Comprehensive.
- The Basic Plan includes services such as cleanings, X-rays, extractions, periodontics, fillings, oral surgeries and endodontics.
- The Comprehensive Plan covers everything that the basic plan covers plus prosthetics such as crowns/caps, bridgework partial and full dentures.
SEBF Dental and Vision Benefit Design
Enrollment in the SEBF Vision Plan is directly tied to the SEBF Dental Plan. Vision is not available as a separate option. The benefits may NOT be split between In-Network and Out-of-Network providers. Your enrollment in the SEBF Dental Plan or the SEBF Dental and Vision Plan is a one-year commitment.
Contributions
SEBF premiums are paid through pre-tax payroll deductions.
